پنجاب حکومت نے یہ قواعد 22 مئی 2009 کو پنجاب کنزیومر پروٹیکشن ایکٹ 2005 کی دفعہ 38 کے تحت جاری کیے تاکہ صارفین کے حقوق کا تحفظ کیا جا سکے اور معیاری مصنوعات و خدمات کی فراہمی کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔

These rules define terms such as:
- “Act” means the Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2005.

Complaints & Investigations / شکایات اور تحقیقات
Anyone can file a complaint for violations of Sections 11, 16, 18, or 19 of the Act. The Authority investigates and may take action after giving the accused a chance to respond.

Defective Products & Services / ناقص مصنوعات اور خدمات
The Authority examines product standards, warranties, and service quality. Expert opinions may be used to determine defects.

Sample Collection / نمونے حاصل کرنا
Inspectors collect samples in the presence of witnesses. If expensive, a single sample may suffice.

Court Proceedings / عدالتی کارروائیاں
Consumer Courts operate at district headquarters. Written claims must include facts, documents, and parties’ names.
کنزیومر کورٹ ضلعی ہیڈکوارٹر پر قائم کی جاتی ہے۔ تحریری دعوے میں تمام ضروری تفصیلات ہونی چاہئیں۔
Appeals / اپیل
Aggrieved parties may appeal Authority or Court decisions within 30 days.

Consumer Protection Councils / تحفظ کونسلز
Provincial and District Councils include government and private members. They raise awareness, recommend reforms, and help resolve disputes.
